Unless specified, these directions assume you're coming from
the Ithaca area.)
ONE more thing. If ya' don't like our directions,no
problem! Here's the alternative - get your OWN by visiting
either Mapquest.com or Mapblast.com. Better yet, you can sometimes
get directions to MOST places from their website
if you want to - so, feel free to visit the club web sites

Take
I-81 North to I-481 North (towards Dewitt). Take Exit 4
to I-690 West (towards Syracuse). Next, take Exit 17 to Bridge
Street (towards East Syracuse). Make a left onto Bridge Street
and go North. After about 1000 feet it becomes Manlius Center
Road (RT-290 East). Keep going until you see The Beginning II
- it will be on the left side of the road a little while after
the train tracks.

Follow Route 13 South to Buffalo Street/Route 96. Make a right onto Buffalo.
At the traffic light by the Lehigh Valley House Restaurant, turn right, toward
the (new) Route 89 bridge. Just before the bridge over the inlet, turn right
onto Taughannock Boulevard, and Castaways will be on your right, just past
the parking lot (and before all the boats). Hey boaters, they have a nice deck
outside for the summer months!

Take
Route 13 to Cortland. As you enter Cortland, you will stay
on Route 13 through the first traffic light at Applebee's/Price
Chopper, and also the second traffic light at Wal-Mart. Just
before the third light by A & W Restaurant,
you will veer to the right and follow 13 past Aldi Food
Mart and Cort-Lanes Bowling. Keep going straight through the
light by Red Apple and Footie's Freez. You will continue on past
the Plaza Theatre, and just before you cross over the railroad
tracks, you will see a little bar on the right called the Red
Dragon. The Cortland American Legion is right across the street.
If you cross over the railroad tracks, you've gone too far.

Cortland:
Take Route 81S to Route 17E. Stay on Route 17E for approx. 28 miles. Take Exit
83. At end of exit ramp take a right, and go into town. At the 30 mph sign,
the road branches off. Follow the road that branches downhill to the right
(towards the train tracks -- it doesn't APPEAR to be a main road, but it is).
Go approx. 1/4 mile and the club will be on the left side of the road.

Take
I-81 to Syracuse. Take the Adams Street exit (number 18), towards Harrison
Street. Stay in one of the right-hand lanes and go straight onto Almond Street
(Route 92). Make a left onto East Genesee Street (still Route 92) - and watch
the traffic light as you pass under the I-81 bridge! Go straight through
a couple more lights and at the big red building make a right onto South
State Street (Route 11 North). Then, turn left onto East Washington Street,
then make a right onto South Salina Street. Finally, turn right onto East
Water Street. THAT is the Hanover Square area. The bar will be on your right,
but it is set back on a little siding...there is a fountain, etc. If you
cannot find it, look for the Bull and Bear bar, and it is across the street
(next to a place called Quigley's).

Take 13 North through Cortlandville, bear left onto 281 North. Follow 281
through Cortland and after you pass by TOPS and Hollywood Video take a right
turn onto Groton Avenue. Go past KFC and Burger King and follow the road through
the next 2 traffic lights (past the optical care building, Byrne Dairy and
Groton Ave. Liquors) and at the THIRD light (by the tire place) you need to
get into the left lane and make a left onto Homer Avenue. Follow Homer Avenue
through the next three traffic lights (at Madison, W. Main, and Wheeler) and
Easy Street will be on your right across from the P & C shopping plaza.
IF you go up over the bridge and into Homer, you've gone too far!

Take
Route 13 north to 366, and when you get to Freeville at
the 4-way stop, turn left onto Route 38 and proceed to Groton.
(There should be signs for Groton.) After you pass the High School
(on your left side), the road curves around to the right (past
an ice cream place that has a caboose...) and comes to a top
sign. At the stop sign take a left. Farrell's will be on your
left after a gas station and a supermaket. It is in the "downtown" section
of Groton, almost to the main intersection by Dempsey Insurance
Agency. If you reach the Main Intersection (just before the road
goes down hill), you've gone too far. Farrell's has a neon shamrock
in the window.
From
Cortland:
Proceed down Groton Ave from Main Street area towards Route 281, go straight
through the traffic light at the 281 intersection.....past the Cortland Co.
Airport (on your left)....straight to Groton (on Rt. 222). At the stop sign
in Groton, take a left and Farrell's is on the right just after Dempsey Insurance.
They have a neon shamrock in their window.

Route 79 west out of Ithaca. You will go through Enfield and Mecklenburg.
About 3 miles west of Mecklenburg you will travel down a long steep hill.
There is a stop sign at the base of the hill. Turn left to stay on Route
79 west. You will go through Bennetsburg and enter Burdett. Go straight at
the intersection with the red light in Burdett. You'll come to a 4-way stop-
turn right onto County Rte.5 (also called Tug Hollow Road). Tug Hollow Road
dead-ends onto Rte. 414. Turn right on Rte.414 to head north. You will pass
the hamlet of Hector. Johnson's is on the right about 3/4 of a mile beyond
Hector.

41 to 41A, and follow 41A to Branch Road. Make a left onto
Branch (It's just past Atwood Road which is a right, and
is almost a "Y", so you leadfoots better slow
down....you will see the lake to your left just before
the turn) and then take your next left to the Lake Como
Inn. Can't miss it.

site on your right) to Main Street. Go through the light, stay
in the left lane, and turn left at the next traffic light onto
Church Street. Take a left at the next light onto Court Street.
Take a left at the next light onto Main Street. Lucky's will
be on your left next to Bobcat's OTHER store, Sub Culture (a
cool skate shop for all your skateboarding needs). PS: No, you
can't just turn left onto Main Street from Route
13.

13 North through Cortlandville, bear left onto 281 North. Follow 281 through
Cortland, past the stop light at the entrance ramp to I-81 (near the high
school), and to the first stop light in Homer. Take a right at the light,
go to the end of the street, take a left onto Main Street (also known as
Route 11), and go straight through Homer's downtown district. The Pine Grove
Inn will be on your left just as you exit the town of Homer, just look for
the bar lights in the windows! Note: If you pass under the I-81 bridge you
have gone a bit too far, and are heading to Little York.

13 North through Cortland, when the road comes to a "Y" you should
bear left and take 281 North (straight through the light by A & W).
Follow 281 through Cortland and into Homer, past the entrance
ramp to I-81. Continue on through the town of Homer and
Little York. Continue on past Dwyer Park and Denny's Mountainview
restaurant. When you get to the four corners in Preble,
take a left at the flashing light (onto route 108B/Preble
Road, I think). The Preble Hotel will be right there, on
the right. Can't miss it.

for the race track.
